US President Donald Trump has spoken publicly about former US president Joe Biden’s shock prostate cancer diagnosis.
On Monday, President Trump spoke in the Oval Office and sympathised with Biden and his family over the diagnosis.
Trump spoke about the need for cognitive tests after he recently completed his and mentioned the alleged use of an autopen.
President Trump did still offer his sympathy to the former president, calling the diagnosis “very sad”.
“I think it’s very sad, actually. I’m surprised that it wasn’t, you know, the public wasn’t notified a long time ago, because to get to stage 9, that’s a long time,” Trump said.
Trump concluded his speech by suggesting the situation should be investigated as he accused former White House staff of “not telling the facts”.
