The Department of Homeland Security has debunked a claim by the Los Angeles Dodgers about the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.
On Thursday, the LA Dodgers posted to X, claiming ICE agents attempted a raid at their stadium during a game.
According to the baseball team’s X account, Ice agents “requested” access to the Dodger Stadium parking lot but were “denied”.
“This morning, ICE agents came to Dodger Stadium and requested permission to access the parking lots. They were denied entry to the grounds by the organisation. Tonight’s game will be played as scheduled,” the Dodgers wrote.
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s X account was quick to dispel the claim, writing, “False. We were never there”.
