Today, I will address the General Council and formally tender my resignation as Political Leader of the People’s National Movement, effective tomorrow—Thursday, May 1, 2025. This marks the conclusion of my public service, having demitted office as Prime Minister on March 16, 2025, and now stepping away from party leadership.
